South Wimbledon
Commissioned to design a rear ground floor extension and loft conversion to an Edwardian terraced house near Wimbledon Park Underground Station.
Our client wanted the new extension to be a large imposing characterful area, to be used as the main entertaining space within the house, with high levels of natural lighting, and as far as possible protect the levels of natural lighting possible to the rear section of their existing through lounge.
The traditionally styled design has a part glazed new pitch roof which offers, interest and detail to the space, while also maximising the height of the room, and allowing natural light to flood into the space and adjoining rooms.
