Our client a major retail property owner, commissioned us to investigate development options on their site in Hounslow High Street, the existing building of high value retail with a floor of ancillary space above was to remain intact, with minimal permanent interventions and no temporary closure for the duration of the construction works.

Working closely with the structural engineer we obtained planning permission for a up to eight new floors of apartments above the existing building, supported off a 42 m long structural steel spanning structure bridging the existing building above existing first floor, to provide 190 new homes.
